The Forum of Youth Initiatives 25-26th June 2015 in Yaremche, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine.

 The forum will be organized for such purposes: 1) to present the achievements and results of the project «Student with initiative: vector of energy saving», implemented by the Agency of private initiative development (Ukraine), Executive committee of Ivano-Frankivsk City Council (Ukraine), Municipality of Lublin (Poland) within the framework of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine 2007-2013; 2) to present the youth cross-border cooperation activities in promotion of energy efficiency innovations at the national and international levels; 3) to share ideas among youth peoples, institutions and experts in this field; 4) to develop the cross-border partnership in the promotion of energy-efficient technologies and renewable energy sources.

 The main tasks of the Forum are:

• to present Youth cross-border cooperation network in the environment and energy efficiency field developed within the project;

• to discuss opportunities for implementation and promotion of energy efficient technologies and alternative / renewable energy sources;

• to initiate ideas for new partnership projects in a field of ecological environmental protection, energy efficiency, alternative and renewable energy sources;

• to establish cooperation between educational institutions and youth organizations from different regions of Ukraine and the European Union.

 Elaborations of proactive young people on energy saving and energy efficiency problems solving will be presented during the plenary sessions of the forum, as well as the best practices of energy efficient technologies in Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine and Lublin voivodeship of Poland. The following thematic blocks will be organized within the forum: "Secure ecological environment", "Alternative study of nature from the school years", "Energy efficiency, alternative and renewable energy sources”.

 It is planned to hold an open international debate tournament within the Forum for discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of the renewable energy implementation in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. Qualifying rounds of the tournament have been conducted in Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine) and Lublin (Poland) during the last year. 

 Experts in the field of energy efficiency and ecology, representatives of educational and research institutions in these fields, developers and mentors of innovative programs of environmental education, representatives of organisations seeking to distribute their own experience in the energy efficient technologies and alternative sources, representatives of enterprises searching progressive ideas on energy efficiency are invited to participate in the forum. 

 Draft Forum agenda is presented on the Network of youth cross-border cooperation website - www.energyouth.org. The final version of the program will be formed based on the topics of presentations and discussions for all special forum panels.

• the topic of performances / presentations within the forum with specifying the relevant thematic block,

Agency for Private Initiative Development, the forum organizer, will inform you about the decision on your participation after 10th June. In the case of positive decision, the Agency will submit you the detailed information about the event and opportunities for your participation in it.
